Accounts store what you publish and nothing more. Riot linking is opt-in, proved by you, and deleted the moment you unlink.

01

Public player discovery

The pro directory displays public account aliases and team listings. Team labels may include former rosters and do not verify current contracts. A small specialist sample uses public Riot solo ranks, champion frequency and final match inventories, refreshed independently of searches. Specialist observations disappear after 72 hours without a successful refresh; refreshed database records replace older ones. Public source catalogs and offline installers carry a visible snapshot date. These records do not contain email, account credentials, private chats or other match participants. Contact support@macrodiff.org for correction or removal requests.

02

Privacy Policy

Effective September 19, 2026. This policy explains the information MacroDiff processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you. MacroDiff operates the account, community, and observed public rank data described below. We do not sell personal information, use behavioral advertising, or set advertising and cross-site tracking cookies.

03

What is stored

Your account stores a display name, your verified Riot identity when connected, and an email and scrypt password hash if you choose email sign-in. Riot-only accounts do not require an email or MacroDiff password. Published and saved builds, votes, reports, duo profiles, requests and private messages, guide interactions, and voice-room ownership are attached to your account. One-time email verification and reset secrets are stored as short-lived hashes; sign-in attempts use a short-lived pseudonymous rate-limit key. Player searches are not logged, and no advertising or tracking cookie is set.

04

Observed public rank history

When a public player profile is loaded, we may retain its current rank, LP, wins and losses, platform, queue, and observation time to show progress. Records use a hash of the Riot player identifier and are limited to one observation per hour and queue. They do not identify who searched or store the search text. These public statistics are independent of a MacroDiff account and expire after 90 days. Earlier LP values are never reconstructed from match results. Contact support@macrodiff.org for access, correction, or deletion requests.

05

Why it is used

Account information authenticates you and secures the service. Riot data answers searches, shows ranks and matches, verifies an optional link, and powers the features you request. Community data publishes builds and guides, finds compatible duo partners, delivers requests and messages, and supports voice rooms. Security and moderation records prevent abuse, enforce the terms, and resolve reports.

06

Sharing and processors

Public profile, build, guide, and duo fields are visible only when you choose to publish them. Private messages are shown to their participants. Limited data is processed by hosting, database, and transactional-email providers solely to operate MacroDiff. Riot receives API requests needed to provide Riot-backed features. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

07

Retention and security

Account and published community data remains until you delete it or the account, subject to moderation and legal needs. Short-lived verification, recovery, session, and rate-limit records expire automatically. Passwords are stored as scrypt hashes, sensitive tokens are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and the Riot API key remains server-side. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

08

Your choices and deletion

You may update profile information, unpublish community content, unlink Riot, or delete the account. Account deletion removes the account, Riot link, duo profile, requests and messages, published builds, guide activity, and owned voice rooms, subject to narrow legal, security, and moderation retention. You may request access, correction, deletion, or an explanation at support@macrodiff.org.

09

Riot account linking

Updated September 30, 2026. Riot Sign On verifies identity on Riot’s own login page. MacroDiff never receives your Riot password or an email from Riot. With your permission, we retain your Riot identifier, platform, name and encrypted access and refresh credentials on our server to keep the connection working and check that access is still valid. Credentials are removed on disconnect, account deletion, or detected revocation. Existing icon-verified links can be upgraded without moving your content. Disconnecting removes the link and the Duo profile based on it; Riot-only users must first verify a recovery email and create an alternative password to retain account access.

10

Desktop sign-in

The app opens the MacroDiff website in your system browser for Riot sign-in. A one-time connection code expires after 10 minutes. Confirm the code shown on your own app to authorize that device. The app receives a revocable MacroDiff session; Riot access and refresh credentials stay on the server. You can review and end sessions in your account settings.

11

International use and updates

MacroDiff is available internationally and its providers may process information outside your country under their applicable safeguards. Privacy requirements differ by location; applicable mandatory rights remain available to you. Material policy updates will be dated and posted here. Contact support@macrodiff.org with privacy questions or complaints.
