Nautilus combo routes
Every sequence states what it solves. Learn the decision before the muscle memory.
Q → attack → E
Hook and passive root
Q must reach the enemy, not terrain or a blocker. Attack if the passive is available on that target, then E as enemies leave.
R → confirm knockup → Q
Ult-first setup
R follows a selected champion, but Q retains its collision rules. Wait for an angle and allied support rather than assuming R makes Q unmissable.
Attack → W → E → hold Q
Peel in place
Use an available passive root, W shield and E slow against an in-range diver. Keep Q for a useful reposition; do not pull yourself away from your carry.
Ability reference
Nautilus hurls his anchor forward. Colliding with an enemy pulls them and Nautilus together, dealing magic damage. Colliding with terrain pulls Nautilus towards it.
Nautilus gains a temporary Shield. While it persists, his Attacks deal damage over time to his target and surrounding enemies.
Nautilus creates three exploding waves around himself. Each explosion damages and slows enemies.
Nautilus fires a shockwave into the earth that chases an opponent. This shockwave rips up the earth above it, knocking enemies into the air. When it reaches the opponent, the shockwave erupts, knocking his target into the air and stunning them.
