Every sequence states what it solves. Learn the decision before the muscle memory.
E1 → E2 → attack → Q → W
Chain contact
E2 must hit to pull Sylas in. Use a stored passive attack safely and aim Q's delayed intersection; its second hit is not automatic.
R steal → inspect stolen R → choose entry
Ultimate-specific plan
Hijack does not create one universal combo. Read the stolen ultimate's target and timing rules before deciding whether E should precede or follow it.
W on champion → attack → Q
Champion-hit sustain
W heals against enemy champions; do not expect that sustain from a minion. Spend the passive attack safely, then use Q while planning the retreat.
Ability reference
Sylas lashes his chains out, intersecting at his targeted location dealing damage to and slowing enemies. After a delay, magical energy explodes from the intersection point dealing damage.
Sylas lunges at an enemy with magical force dealing damage and healing himself against enemy champions.
Sylas dashes to a location. Sylas can recast the ability to throw his chains out, pulling himself to an enemy he hits.
Sylas steals the enemy's ultimate ability and can cast it freely.
