Jinx item pivots when frontline is missing
The standard build assumes someone is holding the fight open for you. When nobody is, the order changes before the first component.
If your team has no reliable engage and no durable body, you will be fighting from a standing start every time. That is a survivability problem, not a damage problem, and the build has to answer it.
Buying the survivability component early costs you a spike you would only reach if you lived through the fight anyway. The break-even is much earlier than it feels.
Without a frontline, your damage has to happen before anyone reaches you. Long-range clears and poke are worth more than the theoretical reset pattern you will not get to use.
